Who We Are
The Oldsmar House of Prayer is a ministry dedicated to worship and intercession, open to all followers of Jesus in the Oldsmar area and beyond! We are a corporate gathering place for the church -- a place for all believers to gather to seek and encounter the LORD.
We established this ministry in Oldsmar to raise up night and day prayer for the fulfillment of the Great Commission and the return of Jesus. Our desire is to see each person who comes through the door established in intimacy with Christ through a community of prayer and worship.
We want to train a generation to give themselves to a lifestyle of prayer, worship, fasting, and radical obedience. These prophetic messengers will boldly proclaim the Word of God, while contending for God to break in with revival in every sphere of society.
We practice Word-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based corporate prayer. We have come to understand that everything we do should be done in the atmosphere of the presence of God and flow from our lives of prayer.
Why Day and Night Prayer and Worship?
Prayer and worship both focus on the ultimate end of everything in God’s heart: His own glory. The desire for Jesus’ glory to be seen is the foundation for the prayer room and the primary reason it continues each passing moment.
In this hour, the Holy Spirit is orchestrating a global prayer movement that operates in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David where 4,000 musicians and 288 singers were organized to minister to God in shifts that continued 24 hours a day.
Luke 18 teaches night and day prayer is vital if a city is to witness the fullness of revival. It is for this reason that the Prayer Room, in essence, will be the center of all that goes on at the missions base.
Prayer is the engine that drives change in the spiritual atmosphere over this region and turns the nations of the world to the revelation of Jesus Christ.
